Freelance Writers Manifesto

Do you ever wonder if your writing is really and truly good enough to make a living out of? As writers, we’re always told to continue ‘improving our craft.’ But without clear signposts, it’s not always easy to know which direction we should be heading. It is, in fact, refreshing to ever find something that can be considered truly helpful, and truly enlightening.

I’ve just been reading a great little article by Stephen King–yes THE Stephen King. Every writer, fiction, non-fiction or whatever, should read this. It’s a must for our craft.

I read this post with interest: it’s sort of a similar theory to that which prompted Freelance Writers Manifesto. Go over to Sphinn to see what’s being said about it there.

There are a lot of writing courses out there. Some are good, some are bad, and some are just plain ugly. I’m very interested on having a few appraisals from people who have completed writing courses. Please leave a comment on this post detailing the course you took, how you feel it improved your writing (or not), and what you feel about value for money.
