Taken a Writing Course?

There are a lot of writing courses out there. Some are good, some are bad, and some are just plain ugly. I’m very interested on having a few appraisals from people who have completed writing courses. Please leave a comment on this post detailing the course you took, how you feel it improved your writing (or not), and what you feel about value for money.

    I saw your question in LinkedIn. I am a writer who have taken several technical writing courses. I found that, except for the classes in the tools of my trade (such as Word or framemaker or editing) they were not very useful for my actual work.

    Thanks for taking the time to post. :) It’s kind of as I expected–it’s rare to find successful writers who have taken courses, and even rarer to find writers who found them useful (judging by the lack of response here).
